Certifications, safety, and QA standards
All stainless-steel work is fabricated in accordance with AS2980 by certified welders.
All works will comply with site-specific safety plans, JSAs, permits, PPE standards, and emergency protocols. OneFab is committed to full compliance with client safety requirements.
Onefab workers undertake specific high-risk work, including working at height and operating mobile elevated work platforms (MEWPs) during fabrication, installation, and construction activities. Working at Height: Workers are formally trained and certified in working at height and the use of fall arrest systems. Successfully completed the Fall Arrest Systems Course, achieving NZQA Unit Standards 15757, 17600, 23229, and 25045, which include safe work practices and the correct use of height safety equipment. Mobile Elevated Work Platforms (MEWPs): Also completed the Mobile Elevated Work Platform Course through Vertical Horizonz, aligned with NZQA Unit Standards 23960, 23962, 23963, and 23966, covering safe assessment, preparation, and operation of scissor lifts, boom lifts, and trailer-mounted EWPs.
All high-risk work is carried out under Safe Work Method Statements (SWMS) and Permit to Work procedures, with supervision, task-specific training, and refresher courses completed regularly to ensure compliance with WorkSafe and industry best practice.
